[[26 Weeks]]

On this day in history, Easter Sunday, Baby Girl Found my ribs.

How far along: 26 weeks

Total weight gain: Still around 130, haven't had a chance to get an accurate weight from an accurate scale this week =]

Maternity clothes? Still trying to manage with what I have, but even big t-shirts are not fitting =[

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: I am ready for bed much earlier now, but when I get upstairs and lay down, my body just hates our bed or something.
Best moment this week: Getting all of the guys together this weekend for the baby shower. I have to say, they were the best sports about playing all of the games =] And I got lots of diapers which is genius on their part! Love those boys so much, and thankful Faith has so many uncles ready to pull out the gun collection to any boy who tries to date her! We also got to skype the fam today and I got to see a sneak peek of some of the projects my sisters have been doing and I am losing my mind with excitement!

Miss Anything? Not so much of anything this week, besides wishing I could try the new strawberitas!

Movement: Yes, except for yesterday, of all days to not be very active, she picks the one day people want to feel my belly. Ill chalk it up to stage freight. Today however, she has been the most exploratory baby EVER. I have felt her on every organ in my belly and she has been hanging out in my ribs allllllll day. Danced to the music at church as well!

Food cravings: Sweets. All day.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Tanya made buffalo chicken cheese dip yesterday and it was a hit with everyone, but I had absolutely no desire of even trying it. I am definitely having a girl lol no spicy food for me!

Labor Signs: Still some braxton hicks.

Symptoms: My linea nigra is getting darker, but still only below my belly button. And is not being able to bend over to pick something up a symptom? Cause it feels like one.
Belly Button in or out? In, BUT I literally just looked in the mirror and it is SO close to poking out =] WEIRD!
Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Especially today, Jesus died and rose again. What is there to be moody about =] Just sad its our last day with our best friends next door before they move to California tomorrow morning =[ On a happy note, Jennifer said "auntie" today finally! Only took her entire life to say it ;]

Looking forward to: HOME IN 11 DAYS! ALMOST THERE =] I can't wait to feel that Arizona sun on my skin =] And to hear people tell me "how big I've gotten" haha thats my favorite one. Nothing feels quite as flattering as "Your huge!" lol glad my insecurities are to a minimum!

So thankful to have had my best friend host this baby shower, I have been blessed!

We had a bbq at our place for Easter with our amazing friends Beard, Mili, Chris, and Tanya =] They all had beers. So I had a beer, root style ;]

Thanks to my amazing maid of honor at our wedding, Faith is going to have THE cutest headbands... Ive already designated you as her personal headband maker Justyne ;]

[[25 Weeks]]

How far along: 25 weeks

Total weight gain: 130, though I feel like a serious thousand pound whale. [from pre-pregnancy gained about 10 pounds, after all the nausea gained about 20 pounds]

Maternity clothes? A lot of my dresses don't fit, all because they just have to have a boob section and size small is NOT working out well... and every last one of my bathing suits don't fit =[ I look like "Shamu the hooker" if I even TRY to get away with it. I actually spent most of my day getting ready and couldn't seem to find clothes that fit right... and I found myself out of breath just trying on clothes!

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: Still hard to sleep, but when Im out... Im a rock.
Best moment this week: Getting our changing table and painting it =]

Miss Anything? Still just miss being in shape

Movement: Oh yes. Lots!

Food cravings: Still cereal, milk, and chocolate. I've been coo-coo for cocoa puffs... and captain crunch ;] And gelato!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still Subway, and I can't finish a hot dog anymore, and hot cheetos... Joel was eating them the other night and it smelled awful.

Labor Signs: Been getting braxton hicks like its cool. The past few days my stomach has been tightening up so much and the growing pains... feels like all kinds of joy surging through my body ;]

Symptoms: Braxton hicks, BACK PAIN (this is a funny one to tell/complain to Joel about when he's the one that had back surgery lol), Im starting to see a faint line coming in on my belly, and ACID REFLUX which hung around for an entire day and was more annoying than anything.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, with a few moments of freak out sessions. The other night Joel did something and I got mad about it and he kept making me laugh and I didn't want to laugh! So I was yelling at him "I DON'T WANT  TO LAUGH!!! STOP!!!" lol he always has to point how how ridiculous I am being by mocking me and making me laugh at myself, which drives me even more crazy!

Looking forward to: BABY SHOWER THIS WEEKEND!

[[23 Weeks]]

How many weeks: 23 weeks

Total weight gain: From my scale, I am 124-125 depending on the time of day of course!

Maternity clothes? My shirts are getting too short... my pants are no where near buttoning (with the exception of a few, if they are super low rise and stretchy)... and my LEGGINGS are too tight in the waist! Thats right, LEGGINGS! Not fair. So I am VERY ready for this place to heat up so I can live in sundresses.

Stretch marks? Nope, seriously don't think I will get any either... famous last words.

Sleep: Still so hard to get comfortable, I just feel like any way I lay my belly hates it.
Best moment this week: My birthday of course! We got the crib and dresser for baby girl's room and I got my fabulous Kate Spade diaper bag from my pops =] Packages galore!

Miss Anything? Getting up off the couch like a normal human being.

Movement: Moving like CRAZY! I can feel it super high on my belly now, its the craziest thing! One minute she is kicking up by my ribs (Not quite dabbling in my ribs yet, but she gets a little too close for comfort ;]) and the next minute she's punching around low near my appendix. I still have moments where I am a little freaked out by the movement... don't get me wrong, pregnancy is a beautiful thing... but still... there is this human that I am making inside of me... that moves... and grows... and is just totally alien-like! Im sure she will love seeing this when she reads this one day ;]

Food cravings: Oh just sweets like they are going to fall off the face of the planet tomorrow.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really, the only thing that I can think of that I have been turned off from is Subway, which is so weird considering I could have lived off subway pre-pregnacy.

Labor Signs: Nope

Symptoms: I had a headache that lasted for 2 days and even on the third day I could slightly feel it in my head still. Also have gotten a shooting pain in my ribs twice... but from what I have read, it was probably just trapped gas, TMI I know ;] Been pretty congested most of the time, and this is also TMI but a couple of days ago, my boobs were SOOO itchy and sensitive... just miserable! I fear getting stretch marks on my boobs.... but so far I've been lucky!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Been very happy =] One more week closer to meeting this precious little girl!

[[22 Weeks/Years]]

Today is Joel's 22nd birthday! Woo! I took him to this place called brew haus in Swansboro, which is this little shack of a house with all kinds of rare beers, it was SERIOUSLY cool. We love hole in the wall type places like that =] And of course his present didn't come in time so he will just have to wait a few more days till it gets here, just my luck!

It is so crazy to think that the first birthday we shared together was his 18th. Feels like just yesterday Bailey and I were writing "Im a big boy now" on his car =] I am so glad I have captured so many of our memories on a camera or through blogging. Ill cherish these forever <3

And now here we are! 4 1/2 years later! =] I hope you have everything you could ever ask for Joel! <3

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain/loss? Went to the doctors last week and I was 124 pounds! Woo! 3 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight =] After I lost all the weight from the first trimester I have gained about 13 pounds total now.

Maternity clothes? I got 2 super cute shirt/dresses from destination maternity, love em, but probably wont wear them till I am bigger... I have to say, cardigans have been my best friend.

Stretch Marks? Nope

Sleep? Sleeping pretty well, notice it being really uncomfortable to sleep in certain positions, so theres a lot of tossing and turning before Im out cold!

Best moment this week? Going for my anatomy scan and check up and hearing everything looks good =] Healthy little stinker! Also Joel and I have been able to watch her kicks on my stomach, I spend so much time just staring at my belly waiting to see it move, it is SO weird! I am loving every second of it though!

Miss anything? Been pretty content, haven't been going crazy over the whole not working out thing, learning to embrace the bump =]

Movement? ALL DAY. She is a super active baby... Docs are always waiting and trying to get her to stop moving to catch certain shots on the ultrasounds. Which speaking of, she really really doesn't want us to see her face ever! 

Food cravings? Cereal. Sweets. Milk.

Looking forward to? Baby shower on March 30th, and home in 39 days!

We decided Oakley was the perfect test dummy for swaddling =]
